No Kill Colorado is sponsoring TWO Cat Spay Neuter Clinic in Delta Colorado in our 100 Cat Campaign!

Events will be two weekends:

January Thursday - Sunday 23-26, 2019

February Thursday - Sunday 27- March 1, 2019

We will spend 2 days trapping community cats (Thursday and Friday) and 2 spaying and neutering community cats (Friday and Saturday), and one-day offering low-cost spay.neuter for the citizens of Delta (Sunday).

Home and Garden Show

No Kill Colorado, partnering with Demi’s Rescue handles the Coat Check for the Home and Garden Show. Volunteers get free tickets to the show.

All funds raise through tips go to the NKC and Demi’s. If you stop by be sure to check your coats and say hi!

So far in 2019, Demi's Animal Rescue has saved 186 animals and found homes for 157 animals, where they bring joy, fun and love to their new families every day!

Colfax Marathon for No Kill COlorado

Run through Denver’s best landmarks in the 14th Anniversary Colfax Marathon with 7 different races to choose from!! Join Colorado's big running community reunion and achieve your goals on these flat courses!

Run 26.2 epic miles through the Broncos Stadium at Mile High, around Sloans Lake, along the Platte River, and back through the streets of Denver. Divide up the marathon course with a team of 5 for the Marathon Relay to win some money for charity!

The wild Half Marathon takes you on a one-mile trek through Denver Zoo (only race allowed!), through Aurora Fire Station #1, and down the flat shady course to the finish.

The Urban 10 Miler follows the final miles of the Marathon through the stadium!

Kick off marathon weekend at the Colfax 5K in City Park and celebrate your finish at the race afterparty in City Park!

Halfpenny Brewing Company Fun Run - Colfax Marathon Training Run

Colfax Marathon Ambassadors will be visiting Centennial to join the community at Halfpenny Brewing for their monthly 5K fun run around the neighborhood. Come learn about the Colfax Marathon while enjoying Halfpenny's flagship brews such as Homer's Oatsey or the Clementine American Wheat...just to name a few! Ambassadors will have Colfax Marathon giveaways for participants.

All runners will receive a BOGO pint from the brewery. All ability levels are welcome.

Check-in starts at 6:00p. The run starts at 6:30p. Safety tip: a headlamp is encouraged as the sun will set shortly before the run starts!

 So we celebrate this day by trying to empty the shelter on that day.

The event will run from 10-4.

This conference will focus on contemporary understanding of neurodiversity and human-animal relationships, through ethical frameworks of educational, therapeutic and vocational opportunities. Experts from around the globe will be featured as we explore the diversity of human and animal minds from a variety of perspectives and research. This special event is co-hosted by IHAC, the Front Range Center for Neurodiversity and Green Chimneys.
