“All Safe”

That was what we called the updates from the teams and individuals that went down to rescue and help homeless pets in the wake of the Harvey Hurricane.  We can safely say that all teams and individuals are back in Colorado and “All Safe”.

We cannot easily express to you the dozens of stories, both uplifting and heartbreaking our volunteers experienced in the Houston area in the past 2 weeks.  We can only tell you of the universal courage, compassion and audacity they showed in extremely challenging, sometimes dangerous, circumstances.

We cannot measure the gratitude that we, and the pets that were saved, have for the generosity of the Colorado community.  Our supplies topped 20,000 lbs.  It included food, crates, bedding, water, medicine, medical equipment, and a host of other items that directly contributed to pets lives being saved.
